  5. Add the milk..
  6. Allow it yo boil..
  7. Boil more for 5mins on slow flame..
  8. Using the tea filter/sieve filter and discard the tea leaves..
  9. Serve hot tea with toast and nuts..

There are many variations to this chai, one of which uses jaggery as the sweetener. One of my friends back in India used to serve me this tea with jaggery. She used to say that in her native place in Maharashtra, jaggery tea or gud ki chai was quite popular. Years later, A friend in Singapore also served me this tea. Since then, I make this sometimes though not frequently.
